We want to make certain you are aware of upcoming personnel changes that will take place over the next nine months. As reported in the recent Town Council monthly minutes, the Council found that it had become necessary to hire an additional staff person to support the Town’s increasingly complex municipal operations. The Council’s efforts that were underway to hire an assistant Town manager in late Spring 2023 required a change in direction when our current Town Manager announced her retirement, effective February 1, 2024.
The Council is now hiring a full-time Deputy Town Manager who will serve as successor of our current Town Manager. Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a one-page letter of interest and resume to Jana Coe, Town Manager, at [email protected]. Applications must be received by 4:00 pm on April 14, 2023. The Assistant Town Manager position will be posted later this Fall in order that the Deputy Town Manager will be involved in this selection process.
