- Paint or paint thinner/remover cans – unless empty, solidified, or triple-rinsed
- Red bag items or medical waste
- Cooking grease
- Tires

- Construction debris (includes drywall)

- Human or animal waste
- Concrete

- Fenceposts with concrete anchors still attached

I Missed the Pickup
The Shady Grove Processing Facility & Transfer Station located at 16101 Frederick Road, Derwood MD 20855 is a convenient option. County residents can drop off household items for disposal or recycling. There is no charge for dropping off recycling items and loads for disposal are also accepted free of charge, up to 500 pounds.
