The Town of Chevy Chase View, located in Kensington, Maryland, seeks a dynamic professional to serve as our next Town Manager. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Town, implementation of Town policies and ordinances, oversight of staff and contractors, liaison with other public officials/agencies, and communications and resident services. Chevy Chase View is an active and friendly community consisting of 312 homes located in southern Montgomery County, about a mile north of the Beltway. The successful candidate will begin as Deputy Town Manager and transition to Town Manager upon the retirement of the current Town Manager in February 2024.
Well-qualified applicants will have at least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, demonstrating progressively responsible project and operations management; excellent leadership and communication skills; and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with coursework in public or business administration, political science, or a related field preferred. The position has a starting salary range of $95K to $125K, based on experience/qualifications.
