The Town Council continues the tradition of collecting contributions for the Holiday Gift Fund. The Fund was initiated in 2010 to create a convenient and secure means for CCV residents to convey their appreciation and Season’s Greetings to the wonderful Ecology crew members who collect our household waste, yard refuse and recyclable materials throughout the year. Town residents generously contributed nearly $13,000 to the Fund in December 2022.

If you would like to contribute to the 2023 Fund, we have a few options for you.

  • Submit a check made payable to “Town of Chevy Chase View,” notating in the check memo section “Holiday Gift Fund. An envelope is enclosed for your convenience in mailing your contribution.
  • Drop the envelope through the mail slot at the Council Chair’s home: Ed Tarbutton 4108 Everett Street, please make sure your envelope is clearly marked “Holiday Gift Fund.”

Whichever way you choose to contribute, please submit your contributions no later than Friday, December 15th, so we can present the checks before the holidays. The collected amount as of December 15th will be split proportionally among regular crew members based on individual visits.  All contributions will be accepted.
