Dear Residents, As previously reported in the Council's recent monthly minutes, Washington Gas and Light (WGL) will be replacing their gas main on Franklin Street between Summit Avenue and Connecticut Avenue. The expected start date is July 6th, weather permitting. In conjunction with this gas main replacement work, individual home connections will need to then be extended or re-established. The new services will generally be located from your gas meter at your house perpendicular to the street.
